While shooting a six hour sequence for a time lapse project, something lit up the trees for a two minute period, causing the undersides of the trees to be exposed along with the night sky. I have no clue what caused it since I was probably fast asleep, but it was one of those magic moments that just happend to work out in my favor. Sure, I had to cut the time lapse clip after this point to avoid the inconsistency  but I was left with a pretty awesome photo, and still got 4+ hours of time lapse, not a bad night if you ask me. 😛
