I have made various trips to Salt Lake City for various reasons. I’ve been their for Outdoor Retailer, Skiing trips, and on this occasion, just passing through after a two week road trip to Oregon to climb Mount Hood. After a few hours of playing in the Salt Flats, we decided to make a stop off at the Capitol. My two travel partners were history and politics junkies, and well my mission was/is simple, I am collecting photographs from every statehouse in the US, this was just another one to tick off the list.

This building has been around since about 1916 and was designed by architect Richard K.A. Kletting.
