Utah is a pretty magical place, there are such a high volume of National Parks in a relatively small area. Even if you only had a few days, you could visit a majority of them. One of my favorite parks in Utah is Arches. There is something mesmerizing about the stone arches. Last month when is spent about nine days traveling around the southwest, I explored a bit more of Arches. Last time I was there, it was too hot and hiking out to Delicate Arch would have been nothing short of miserable, so I made it a point to spend a few hours at the iconic arch this time around.

It is pretty funny how things happen sometimes. While I was roaming around Delicate Arch, taking photos, and trying not to get blown away by the wind I made a new friend named Kira. She was killing time, waiting for a friend, practicing yoga in this inspiring environment. We wandered around the back side of the arch where the crowd was almost non existent, and I got this photo of the setting sun. Sometimes all it takes is a new friend to find new and interesting angles.
