Daily Photo – Half Dome Fog

After nearly five days of rain, we crawled out of our tents and wrung out our wet bones. The sky opened up to show off it’s brilliant blues, and most of the beautiful features that Yosemite is known for became visible from base to summit. With coffee in our stomachs and our gear hanging to dry, we headed out to see the now visible sights. Of all the features in the valley, Half Dome may be the most recognizable. It’s 2000+ foot face of unbroken granite provides inspiration for both artists and daredevils alike.

The remains of the stormy days past floated around the northwest face of Half Dome in the form of fog, providing a nice photo for me to take back home after a mostly wet week in the valley.
