Of all the places i’ve traveled to, Iceland still resonates in my mind on an almost daily basis. The pleasant people, The small fantasy-like villages, and the dramatic landscapes all captivated me while I was there, and hold my attention still. While we were making our way around the country via The Ring Road, we made many scenic stops along the way. One such stop was along the southern coast near the village of Höfn. There is no shortage of dramatic mountains on the southeastern coast of Iceland, they seem to rise out of the ground everywhere in this region. We stopped along Route 1 to observe the cloud veiled mountains contrasting against the might of the North Atlantic. Just thinking about it stirs up the excitement of a return. 🙂
