Stepping into the Verdon WP’s super cushy insoles for the first time feels incredible. The Shoc Padâ„¢ Technology provides more than enough padding to keep foot pain at bay without sacrificing stability. These shoes are classified by Teva as “Light Hiking” shoes, making them adequate for day trips and rock climbing approaches. The tread is not extremely aggressive on these shoes, but The Spider365 rubber outsole grips just fine on the loose dirt and gravel that you’ll come across on a typical hiking trail.
As the name would suggest, the Teva Verdon WP are built with a waterproof construction, which does a great job of keeping your feet cool and dry. After several trips out on the trail during a rainy spring day, the waterproof construction held up its end of the bargain, making for a happy pair of feet. If style is your thing, these shoes come in two color configurations: Turkish Coffee or Black Olive. The overall design of these shoes is pretty minimalist, no unnecessary bells and whistles, just a simple — yet attractive — light hiking shoe. if short day hiking is your thing, and you’re looking for inexpensive footwear to wear from day to day, these shoes definitely fit the bill.
