Though the weather refused to cooperate with us for more than a few minutes, we still made the best of our three day stay in Iceland. The rain made it difficult to get good shots without constantly wiping down the lens. That being said, the moody atmosphere of the stormy weather made for some pretty dramatic scenes. While we were exploring the Golden Circle, a popular tourist route in Southwest Iceland, we stopped off at Kerið Crater to check out the water filled volcanic crater. Fortunately the rain calmed down just long enough for us to circumnavigate the crater rim and capture a few photos of the beautiful landscape.
