Iceland has been one of the most magical and untouched places I’ve ever been. Spending nearly ten days circumnavigating the country, I took in so many unique sights. Glacial flows, Buildings partially encased in hardened lava, Hot springs, and beautiful mountains. Of the sights I saw while exploring iceland, some of the scenery along the southern coast was the most memorable. If memory serves me correctly, we stopped for a coffee break when we stumbled across this little church. I found it very interesting how the roof was formed out of grass, and the whole thing seemed to be built into a hillside. I could almost imagine a small service as it happened inside the walls of this quaint little church.
That is absolutely stunning!
