On Thursday my crew and I will be packing up our climbing and camping gear and heading southwest to the famous New River Gorge for a long weekend of camping, climbing and an all out party. Yes we will be partaking in this years New River Rendezvous. for those of you not aware, the New River Rendezvous is a yearly climbing festival benefiting the New River Alliance of Climbers. The Rendezvous feature climbing comps, music, culture, food, beer, vendors, athletes, and of course climbing on the rocks of the famous New River Gorge. I am quite excited to say the least being that I have never had the pleasure of climbing at the gorge or attending the Rendezvous.
