In Northeast PA, sugaring season is in full force and we are hard at work tapping trees, collecting sap, and boiling it down into sweet delicious syrup. In this shot, Bill Urbanski, my close friend, and a farmer at Urbanski Farms is carrying many gallons of unprocessed maple sap on the back of a Farmall Tractor. Once this tank of syrup makes its way to the sap house, it will be pumped from the tractor to a holding tank where it will be fed it into the wood fired evaporator where it will be continuously boiled down until it reaches the correct sugar content.
