Usually I like to sit on my photos for a few weeks to really make sure I like how I processed them, but I was so excited to share this one, that I decided to push it out now.
Daily Photo – The Republic Of Texas
One of my newer personal long term photo projects is to photograph all 50 of the US state houses. Since I decided to visit a friend in Austin, I figured it would be a great opportunity to capture this great building.
After wandering around downtown for the better part of the day, and several cups of coffee, I made my way to the capitol building to do some exploring and learning. I explored the innards of the building and took many great photos around the facility. The architecture and design of the place is just incredible. The place was pretty quiet except for the Rattlesnakes that were on the loose.(more on that later)
After a good bit of walking around, I exited and went to the front walkway where I took this.
