Hello friends, many of you know that I have been working for a few months to raise money for Big City Mountaineers. My ascent of Rainier is swiftly approaching and I still have work to do to reach my goal. With the help of my friend Kristy Graves, I have teamed up with fellow Rainier climber and Big City Mountaineers supporter Jordan Williams to bring you a great event. The event I speak of is the Summit For Somone Go Game – Seattle. This event will be held on Friday July 22nd at Kell’s Irish Pub in Seattle from 4 to 7.

For those of you wondering what a Go Game is, it is an adventure to say the least. If you enjoy puzzles, clues, wandering the streets of a colorful city and most of all helping under sourced urban teens get an outdoor experience that will transform their lives. The event will be right up your alley. Big City Mountaineers is a nonprofit aimed at getting under sourced teens out into week long outdoor adventures where they will learn team building skills. Through The Summit For Someone program, Climbers are given the opportunity to climb some of the most sought after peaks and raise money for a good cause at the same time.
