Daily Photo – Primordial Soup

This is it folks, this is the very pool where life began… Well, I actually have no evidence to substantiate that claim, but it very well could be true, who knows. Regardless, Yellowstone National Park is full of all kinds of magnificence that makes one question the universe and all it’s powers. It is hard to fathom that this entire beautiful park is one great big super volcano, but the evidence is plainly seen with such wonders as Old Faithful, the various geisers and bubbling pools such as this one.

Whole wandering about the area surrounding Old Faithful, I capture this shot of a blueish green pool of bubbly boiling sulfurous water. We wandered around the various bubbling cauldrons while we waited to see Old Faithful blow it’s top like it does nearly every 90 minutes.
