Daily Photo – Reaching The Summit

One of my greatest personal achievements was climbing and summiting Mount Rainier. I was one of those moments in life where I almost heard an epic film score in my head as I crested the crater rim of the 14,410 foot peak in Washington. This shot reminds of how vast our little planet is. A group of climbers cross the crater of Rainier on their final push to Columbia Crest, which is the true summit of this mountain.
