Daily Photo – The Lone Star
They say everything is bigger in Texas, and when it comes to capitol buildings, that is no lie. The Texas state house in Austin is a large and impressive building both inside and out. While I was visiting Austin a few weeks ago, I took a few hours to explore to the capitol grounds. While inside, it was nearly obligatory that I photograph the dome towering over my head. This was shot from the second floor balcony of the rotunda. The light was beautiful, and I was smiling. This is the second state house of the 50 that I intend to photograph.
