Trolltunga Warrior

Trolltunga-Warrior-Web I need a travel fix soon. I need to see big mountains and create more photos. I want to go to the desert again, but this time in the winter. Ahh, my restless mind.

Trolltunga Warrior

For one reason or another, Trolltunga, or the Troll’s Tongue ended up on my list of places I needed to visit in my lifetime. I guess it had something to do with the beauty and grand scale this place seemed to offer. In July, I made the journey all the way to Central Norway and crossed that item off my list. This place is way bigger than I ever imagined could be possible. Looking down off that tongue of rock nearly made my head explode, it was humbling. Emalee, being the yogi she is, practiced her warrior pose out on this yoga mat in the sky, high above Lake Ringdalsvatnet. If you ever make it to Tyssedal Norway, I encourage you to take this long, but worthwhile walk. The round trip is over 15 miles, but the views and the mountain air make every step worth it.
